Abstract
While Connect Freight Logistics was developing their new operations, they assigned me to research current difficulties in freight forwarding and contract logistics, and my project was based on the following TERMS: Transporting Goods: Logistics is the management of the movement of resources between the point of origin and the site of consumption in order to suit the needs of consumers or organisations, for example. Logistics resources can include both tangible goods such as food, materials, equipment, liquids, and personnel as well as abstract items such as time, information, particles, and energy. Physical item logistics often entails the integration of information flow, material handling, production, packaging, inventory, shipping, warehousing, and, in certain cases, security.
